AntiBody is an Open Source(GPL v3) AntiVirus done in pure python. AntiBody uses the ClamAV virus signatures but is completely built from the groud up otherwise.   It supports ondemand scanning, and requires nothing but python, NO OTHER DEPENDENCIES! The default interface is command line, but GUIS will be offered as optional.   Pysco libraries can be added for improved speed, but are mearly optional. AntiBody is quickly expanding and will soon have many new features and ideas, AntiBody is ment for Desktop, server, and portable usage and can run on any Operating System supported by python.   Possible plans for the future include Real-Time scanner, On-Access scanner, GUI, Squid proxy integration, and will be used in later projects.
